Hello to any whom it may concern. I am a secretly aspiring entertainer/artist who had thought of making an account here for almost a decade now. I have had many ideas for movies, shows, voice dubs, and online videos for over a decade, and I don't know what to do with myself. I have not made any animations yet, but I had done pretty well in the art classes I've taken, and I took an introductory game programming class with Construct 2, with my final project acing with flying colors, despite that it's broken. However, all those were years ago, unfortunately.
Other than that, I had studied physics, computer science, and applied math. I thought I could get a job with those, but I have yet to get a permanent one..
But too much about me. Where can I start?
Any recommended software and locations to find them?
Any advice?
Or do you just hate me now?

Practice makes perfect, so whatever you choose to focus on just hope you keep going; trying new stuff. :) Regarding software there's a good list/lists here: https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources
Personally I've only ever really tried Flash, but it's simple to use. With Ruffle it won't be going away any time soon either. At least not on NG. Older versions of the program can be downloaded for free on for example the Internet Archive if you want to try that.
